How long does the cotton candy last?

Our tubs are immediately sealed the moment it is hand-spun to ensures the cotton candy stays fresh when you open it! Unopened, it will last about 5 to 10 weeks. Once opened, we recommend eating your cotton candy within a few days.

Why are we using organic cane sugar?

The organic cane sugar we use in our mix is made from certified organic sugar cane. The cane juice, rich in molasses, is extracted, clarified, evaporated and crystallized all on the same day it is harvested. Unlike refined white sugar, our organic sugar goes through minimal processing, resulting in a delicious, and all-natural taste.

Is Nuage cotton candy vegan?

All of Nuage cotton candy will be vegan as long as there are not been any toppings added to the cotton candy. Organic cane sugar does not contain bone char like standard refined sugar. Natural or organic flavors and colors are generally vegan as they are made from actual food sources. Traditional, artificial cotton candy is however not vegan.

Is Nuage cotton candy gluten-free and kosher?

All of Nuage cotton candy will be gluten-free and kosher as long as there are not been any toppings added to the cotton candy.

Is Nuage cotton candy dye-free?

All of Nuage cotton candy will be dye-free as long as there are not been any toppings added to the cotton candy. There should never be a dye or fake colors in any natural or organic cotton candy you purchase. The colors used in our cotton candy are derived from natural plant-based food sources. Yes, the color of our organic cotton candy will never be as vibrant as traditional cotton candy, but we think that it is a minor issue compared to the long term effects of consuming dye.

Will cotton candy melt?

Cotton candy will melt when fully exposed to open air and should not be left out for more than ten to twenty minutes. Humidity in the air will begin to melt cotton candy immediately. The higher the humidity, the faster the process will start. Keeping the cotton candy in its sealed container will protect it and prevent it from melting.

Can cotton candy go bad?

Cotton candy will take years to go bad as the primary ingredient is sugar with minimal flavor and color.

How to conserve cotton candy?

Our cotton candy should be stored in a dry space at room temperature and in sealed packaging.
